Community Connect hires Vice President of Marketing
Former Columbia House executive brings 10 years of marketing experience. New York, NY -- Community Connect, the leader in online community destinations for US ethnic groups, today announced Jeff Carr has been named Vice President Marketing. In this role, Mr. Carr is responsible for all new member acquisition, customer retention, brand marketing strategies as well as business development across all Community Connect sites. Mr. Carr brings ten years of direct and online marketing experience with an emphasis on entertainment and online subscription products. Prior to joining Community Connect, Mr. Carr was the Senior Director of Online Marketing at Columbia House, where he led online new member acquisition for the largest direct marketer of entertainment products in the US. Before joining Columbia House, he headed marketing at UltraStar Entertainment and retention programs at CDNOW.
