Former WebMD executive brings 15 years of advertising sales and business development experience.

New York, NY -- Community Connect, the leader in online community destinations for US ethnic groups, appointed Donna Halperin as Vice President Sales. Ms. Halperin, with a distinguished career working with preeminent media, sales and marketing companies, will have responsibility for managing and developing strategic advertising sales with national accounts.

Prior to joining Community Connect, Ms. Halperin was Senior Vice President of Consumer Sales and Business Development at WebMD where she achieved double-digit year over year growth by bringing innovative and creative solutions to advertisers. In addition to WebMD, Ms. Halperin brings to Community Connect extensive experience gained in leading sales and business development at MyMaison.com, Fairchild Publications, and Hachette Filipacchi; she began her career at Revlon.
