Job Code: SMNCS REPORTS TO: CEO DEPT: Marketing Company Description Community Connect is the category leader building online community destinations for U.S. ethnic groups and is a top 50 web publisher (Nielsen) with nearly 20 million registered members across four sites -AsianAvenue.com, BlackPlanet.com, MiGente.com and GLEE.com. Community Connect's proprietary technology enables members to form and engage in culturally-oriented communities resulting in a highly personalized and meaningful online experience. Job DescriptionThe Site Manager, Christian will be responsible for developing the partnership, marketing and programming strategy for Community Connect's planned Christian community web site. This position will have general management responsibilities for leading the success of the site including: working with marketing to drive customer acquisition and developing relationships with content partners (video, music, print), celebrities and artists and internal editorial resources to increase the amount of content relevant to community members. In addition, this position will formulate editorial packages and site sections that reflect marketing goals and advertising opportunities. |
