Job Purpose/Ojective

Develop design solutions for digital media. Participate in project ideation and graphics development. Ability to take art direction and create time estimates for each project. Work with Producers, Project Managers, and Design Technologists to implement designs into technology frameworks. Work with Art Director to integrate technology and clients' business requirements into design strategies, balancing UI, marketing, and aesthetic interests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Follow design standards and production standards determined by the CCI design department
  • Create documents to CCI template standards
  • Responsible for designing CCI products for the web and for the marketing media
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Execute creative concepts for projects
  • Understanding of the user centered design and information architecture
  • Ability to forecast duration of projects and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of how the products are related and ability to influence the products
QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

  • Strong visual design, interactive design, and understanding of technology
  • Strong knowledge of design layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography and web
  • Strong knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, BBEdit, and Flash
  • Strong understanding of user interface and information architecture
  • Strong creative skills coupled with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent production skills (HTML) and understanding of back end code
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to follow direction from Senior Designers and/or Art Director

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Education Requirement:
  • BFA or Associates Degree in Design/Related Field

Minimum Experience Requirement:

  • 2-4 years of web design experience
